The SAS Installation Qualification (IQ) and SAS Operational Qualification (OQ) tools fail for client installations that are performed using the SAS Administrator Wizard. When prompted to specify a directory for the output files, you see the following note regarding the problem:

   SAS Installation Qualification Tool for the SAS System
   No INI file info found, processing registry info instead.
   CV: 9.2 ROOT: C:\SAS Software Depot Client\products\sasinstall__92210__win__en__sp0__1\sas\
   Please specify a directory where the output files should go [.]:

After the SAS IQ tool completes, the location specified above does not contain the HTML nor the PDF file typically created when this tool is run. The XML file that is created indicates that there are errors with the installation. You can ignore errors in the XML file regarding the sasiq.exe file. These errors are expected because of this issue.

The HTML and PDF files are not created when the SAS OQ tool is run.

This issue is planned to be fixed in a future release of SAS.
